2006 – AWARE-TSAO addresses issues faced by older women who are outliving their male counterparts, but have less financial security, health care and are more dependent on children. They make recommendations in the areas of employment policies, CPF and social protection policies, healthcare financing, housing, social networks and educational programmes to change the social norm of treating women as care-givers.
