Women’s Action

Amid SG50’s stories of national progress, one major facet of Singapore’s achievements, previously overlooked, has now been brought under a spotlight with Women’s Action – a richly immersive website telling the story of the women’s movement in Singapore.

RALLY: Arts Fest 2015 happening this Sunday!

A lineup of amazing events is in store at RALLY on 6 December at the Singapore Art Museum! The exciting list includes panel discussions, workshops, sharing sessions, live poetry and book and clothes swaps!

Gender equality in the public eye

AWARE and TWC2 released a joint statement calling the government to clarify that filming foreign workers is illegal. MOM and SPF have replied. Also read our letter calling to tackle domestic violence by promoting gender equality.

White Ribbon campaign

We Can! launched the White Ribbon campaign, calling on men and boys to oppose violence against women by wearing a white ribbon for a week, between 25 Nov to 1 Dec. Check out the campaign video and pledges by men here.
